Announcements for March, 2018
Congratulations to Ross Mangrum, Ashton Smith, and Ashlin Goble. They were awarded runners-up in their categories last night at the Sterling Scholar Awards Night. The competition was heavy,… but all our students who competed came shining through. Good job North Sevier Sterling Scholars, we are proud of you!
North Sevier encourages students that instead of a “Walk Out” lets do a “Walk Up” on March 21st. To quote Westlake High School, “Walk up to the kid who sits alone at lunch and invite him to sit with your group. Walk up to the kid who sits quietly in the corner of the room and sit next to her, smile and say hi.” Walk up the kid who causes a disturbance in class and ask how he is doing. Walk up to your teachers and thank them. Walk up to someone who has different views than you and get to know them- you may be surprised at how much you have in common. Build on that foundation instead of casting stones.” We challenge North Sevier High School and community to find 14 students and 3 adults to walk up to and say something nice. We highly encourage you to participate.
